Adam and Mimmi

Weddings are always the most exhausting, yet exhilerating events to photograph. You start early in the morning and end late in the evening, with no real time for breaks.

At the same time, there is great pressure on capturing just the right shot, when it happens. You don't ask the minsiter "Ehm, can you please say that 'kiss the bride again...?'"

But just the same, weddings have a special magic, which somehow makes everything go right. I guess the sum of the happiness of the people around multiplied with the future survival potential of the couple add to invariable aesthetics...

These photos are from a wedding in Stockholm just a few weeks ago.

For those technically interested I am truly enjoying my new Canon EOS 5D with full-frame CMOS as the photos are virtually noise-free even at ISO 1000. I have to add noise to make them more "realistic".

Sunset in Cahors, France

Heavnly clouds

This sea of clouds was one of the most extraordinary things I have ever seen.

We were flying the airplane, when suddenly this vast expanse of fungus-like clouds came up all around. Soon the sun broke through and made it seem as if Heaven itself, had opened above.

Unfortunately the airplane window was quite small, which prevented a broad view of this magical phenomenon.

Business conference

One of a series of portraits at an international conference. All coference attendees were various business owners, so the I tried to make the photos look business-like, yet showing a calmer and more personal side.

Photos were shot with studioflash in the hotel lobby.
